If you're reading this, you're probably a member of the most visually-literate generation ever. Which means you'd rather be watching it. This instinct is part of why the internet is becoming a more rich and interactive place with each new breakthrough. Online video is shifting attention and resources to the internet at a pace matched only by a minority of other attractions. So whether you're in it for lean-back viewing, lean-forward viewing, or both, online video is going to shape the internet for decades to come.
